Summer
Volunteering
The Summer School needs motivated and dynamic volunteers that are keen to help. If you join, you will be assigned to a class, either assisting the teacher or conducting yourself the lectures in Maths, English etc. Furthermore, you will take part in playground games and swimming lessons. A lifetime experience is waiting for you.
Schools
We will appreciate the coworking in intercultural projects with schools from all over the world. This is a very powerfull way to learn about different cultures while practising English. It would be done through letter or emails. Let's get a little bit closer!

Partnership
The Partnership For Development Programme seeks to cooperate with both international and local organizations to address a pressing developmental need in our communities. In 2017, cooperations between Akoma and Polytechnic University of Catalonia successfully led to great improvements in the island of Azizapke. Go to our Projects section for more information
be a Mentor
Akoma have decided to start a programme called "Be a Mentor" which seeks to personally support a child of Azizakpe. Over the last years, the organization has mainly initiated projects to support all the children. Still we have always seen the need to further support some of the kids concerning their education process and health. That is why we are looking for people who are willing to not only financially support one child but also to catch up on their growing and education process as some kind of mentor. ​
For this reason, the organization has decided to provide profiles of the children with name, age, number in a family and remarks about their learning from the local teacher to be selected by people who are interested in supporting this programme.
